Did everyone have a great summer?

Hi Everyone,

My last appearance was June 22nd as summer dawned on us.Well that was a disappointment as most of the summer it rained here in the greater Toronto area. We've already had our 1 week of indian summer it seems but we all have hopes that October will bring us some nice warm days before winter sets in.
I received a very touching story from a friend of ours who is an amazing Elvis impersonator. If you close your eyes you would think the real Elvis was singing to you!Having a young 3 year old boy I went through many emotions in reading this short story. The message is powerful and I hope all that read this will pass it on.

USED vs LOVED

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench. At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father.....with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions ...sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.
The next day that man committed suicide. . .. Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life..... Things are to be used and people are to be loved, But the problem in today's world is that people are used and things are loved...Be sure to keep this thought in mind:
Things are to be used, but People are to be loved ... Be yourself....This is the only day we HAVE.
Have a nice day. Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits they become character; Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.I'm glad a friend forwarded this to me as a reminder..If you don't pass this on to anybody, nothing bad will happen; if you do, you will have ministered to someone.Stay FAITHFUL and Be GRATEFUL

Here Today...Gone Tomorrow

Hi Everyone,

Today's pondering question is "Are you and the people around you happy?"

The world today is loaded with trials and tribulations for everyone. How do we handle it?Does it get the best of us and we take it out on our friends and loved ones?My wife and I were reminded again today how fragile life is.A young wife and mother of 3 young ones of my wife's hair dresser passed away last Friday from cancer. She had been in a battle and many of us thought she had turned the corner then she was rushed into the hospital where she couldn't be helped any further but it was her time to return home to her Heavenly Father.
Now stop and reflect on that.A vibrant young woman taken by cancer. As we travel through our day remember that we are still here, experiencing our lives.Be NICE to everyone.Choose to spread JOY... ALL the time. Are your problems as bad as this young woman who left 3 children to her husband?Just CHOOSE to be LOVING... ALL the time.
My condolences to not just those she left behind but to all those who have lost a loved one to cancer or any other illness or accident. We are still here not to live in pain of lose but to spread love and joy among us.Be gentle and most of all UNCONDITIONAL in that which you do to bring smiles to those in your lives.

The Fist of Love and Life

Hi Everyone,

Have you ever stopped, stepped back and pondered why you just had an argument with your spouse or one of the kids,or maybe the boss? It's simple...you forgot about the unconditional LOVE aspect in life.Yes I'm talking about that "U" word again.I have something I wanted to share that may help in changing that state of being to one of balance and peacefulness.
Make a fist with both hands then hold them out in front of you.Lets call the fist on your left arm "LOVE" and lets call the fist on your right arm "LIFE".Our confusion begins with understanding what things are "LOVE" and what are "LIFE" then choose the proper response.
You may disagree with what your wife/husband said over the dinner table or the fact he/she bought something you feel isn't needed but is it worth an argument? Is it enough to trigger silence between both of you for days?Do you find yourself verbally being abusive trying to make your point? Now step back and ask yourself "are you treating your spouse with respect and unconditional love? What just happened over dinner is called "LIFE".There is never any right or wrongs...just "LIFE"! No need to get hot and it certainly has nothing to do with your love for your spouse so it should be a friendly discussion with mutual respect and not interfere with "LOVE".
This goes for every relationship in life.Step back and realize it's just not worth it and certainly doesn't deliver anything positive and beneficial to the whole. So next time you find yourself getting hot under the collar, step back and remember to surrender, see what fist this has to do with and remember...show lots of "LOVE".

As the Clouds Part...A Hug from God

Hi Everyone,

I have often talked about surrender.Probably THEE hardest testament to our constitution. Our society reminds us and pushes our lower forces to flex their muscles and about all unconditional oneness is lost to the temptations around us.
I have had a period of most resistance over the last year.I won't get into it but basically I've been in battle with my will and other wills around me.Everyone reading this can associate with what I'm saying.Somewhere through the mass of obstacles,a little bit of light emerges to give you encouragement that your approaching a state of enlightenment and a door will open for you to walk through to another plain and another test.
It's funny how it all reveals itself.I'm at a state of giddiness with my inner trying to burst from it's confines in celebration and yet there is only a sliver of light to grasp and call it hope.Interesting how the spirit knows well before we do what's around the corner.
For all those who feel the desperation of your outer environment and situation, never loose hope that change is just around the corner. It might not be in the color you thought it would be,or it may not be delivered as you thought it might.Remember...the answer and solution is what God knows you need. When the clouds start to part ever so slightly, reflect back on what you've just been through and find the patience and strength to go just a little further. You won't be walking alone...funny thing is,we've forgotten that we NEVER walk alone.

Tripping Over Our Own 2 Feet

Hi Everyone,

Were in a time in our existences where spiritual enlightenment and awareness is abundant. Many people have discovered some gift or another they have and most times they are coming in multiples so we all have choices how to receive our guidance and enlightenment.
When I start a day and find I am not on my path of least resistance,I find myself tripping over my own 2 feet.I have a grand square that gets triggered every now and then and when my days have a string of obstacles I start thinking "my grand square is triggered".Then I over think and start talking to my guides and ask if it's Gods will that this be on my path at this time. The list can go on and on.
I guess I'm back to step one...surrender.All in Gods time...your will Lord not mine. The point is by using our wills sometimes we block that which is directly in front of us.Tomorrows another day :)
